If the STEELERS go 8-8 Coach Tomlin should get Coach of the Year!!! This is the hardest schedule I have ever seen in 28 years!!! Actually I kind of hope we do finish with an 8-8 record...because then we can let our team grow...we can get a higher draft pick...and we will have a softer schedule. If we have a 8-8 record or worse....WE WILL WIN THE SUPERBOWL IN 2009!!!

I think 10-6 or 11-5 is a possibility. Nobody is giving the Steelers much of a chance and that's when they prosper. With that being said they won't achieve success unless players like Ike Taylor start earning their hefty salaries and Troy stays healthy and plays like he did three years ago. I think the O-Line will be better without the Faneca distraction. Arians playcalling is also a big concern, but I'll remain cautiously optimistic and say the Steelers either win the division or capture a wild card spot which will be well deserved looking at their ridiculously tough slate.

I REALLY THINK YOU ARE DREAMING. THE STEELERS ARE A QUALITY FOOTBALL TEAM. NO ARGUEMENT THERE. BUT I FEEL A FEW TEAMS CAN SNEAK UP ON THE STEELERS AND BE SPOILERS TO AN ALREADY TOUGH 08' SLATE! THAT SAID I REALLY FEEL THAT THE TEXANS CAN BE THAT SPOILER IN WEEL ONE. THEY BEAT THEM IN THE FIRST SEASON IN PITTSBURGH, AND THEY WERE A BETTER TEAM LAST YEAR AT 8-8, SO THIS MIGHT BE THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON, BUT WHEN ITS ALL DONE, THIS MIGHT BE THE GAME WE ALL LOOK BACK AT AND SAY WE SHOULD'VE, BUT COULDN'T!...

Looks like a tough schedule , I think Browns will finally win one , Cowboys , Giants , Gatriots , SD, and also that any given sunday upset , I see the Steelers losing at least six games. Hopefully no injury to Ben , O line scares me and we need a great draft. Tomlin and Colbert better be doing their homework there is no room for error in this years draft.

I would not be surprised to see us drop the away game to the Browns. It is week two we didn't finish strong last year, and will likely still be working on getting a shuffled O-Line working well. One thing Cleveland will probably have going for them this year is a good D-Line, so iffy O-Line play on our part could make for a rough day for Ben. I hope we don't drop it but I think we might.

The only other games I think that will be tough that you have in the win column are, SD we have a fairly bad history with this team even in Pitt. So I say 10-6 to 12-4 depending on how well our O-Line plays.
